The Skoda Enyaq iV 80x is artificially detuned from the maximum possible 300 PS to 265 PS. The torque is 425 Nm.

With our upgrade the maximum power of 300 PS becomes available and the torque increases to 465 Nm. The throttle delay is also significantly reduced.

Only the artificial commercial limitations in the powertrain control module are altered. The electric motor controllers and the battery controller are not modified in any way and their output never exceeds the factory rated maximum safety parameters. The limitations of the thermal envelope also remain fully intact.

You always receive a brand new plug and play powertrain control module customized for your specific vehicle.

The new module is fully remotely updatable using a PC and ENET cable – should there be any changes to your preferences or in the unlikely case that a software update is required, this can be performed by a distributor or from the comfort of your home.

Your original control module is not modified, and may be re-fitted at any time and for any reason – dealer visits, sale of the vehicle or for a back to back comparison.

In light of recent developments we do not recommend modifying the original module under any circumstances. Dealer level diagnostic equipment currently detects modified modules and silently flags the car as modified on the central server, which may cause denied warranty claims and refusal of warranty extensions at any point in the future.

The powertrain controller has a feature called “Anti-surge damping” or in simpler words – torque request filtering. It exists for two reasons – to provide refinement of the power delivery and protect the drivetrain from excessive lash.

Completely disabling the damping is not a good solution – resulting in jerky throttle behaviour in regular driving conditions. We temporarily bypass the filtering when the throttle is above 80%, allowing the full torque to become available instantaneously.

For you this means much sharper and less delayed throttle response during spirited driving and when pulling away at junctions without affecting the carefully crafted refinement of the vehicle or placing undue stress on the powertrain.
